Plaza 114, our shopping center in Lawrence, Massachusetts is ready for spring! A-Affordable Auto Insurance Agency, Inc. has exercised their option through May 2026. Additionally, the pylon signs at Plaza 114 underwent a major facelift in 2020. This was a major project several years in the making and the end results are beautiful.

We have more news coming in the next few weeks and as the days get longer, the weather gets warmer, and the world starts to heal, we look forward to forging ahead into the future.

Cornerstone is pleased to share some news as we head in to 2020. 

Here at our offices at 231 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT Tunxis Wealth Management signed a new lease agreement for 6 years.

In East Hampton, CT at The Stop and Shop Plaza Verizon extended its lease. 

Additionally, at Shop Rite Plaza, in Southington, CT H&R Block renewed their lease for 5 years until 2025.

We look forward to a successful year ahead.

Sale Of Brooklyn Commons

Cornerstone is happy to announce the sale of Brooklyn Commons Shopping Center to Ocean State Job Lot. Ocean State has been a wonderful tenant since 1995. We are pleased that they are the new owners of the center. We wish them endless success and continue to value this partnership.

The 105,000 square feet of prime retail space is located on route 6 in Brooklyn, CT. Other national tenants in the center include Dollar Tree, AutoZone, Rent-A-Center, KFC/Taco Bell and Subway. The Center is approximately one mile from I-395, a major north-south interstate connecting Connecticut to all of New England. Purchased by Cornerstone in 1981, it has been a fantastic property and we are glad to have sold it to one of our long term tenants.
